The Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) in Adelaide, South Australia is seeking a qualified Conductor from 22 July 2013 until 27 September 2013. The successful applicant will be offered a 10 week contract with the possibility of an extension of 6 weeks.

DECD employs three Conductors and provides a range of Conductive Education programs for students with physical and multiple disabilities from 6 months to 18 years. Spoken and written English is essential.

Applicants should forward a Curriculum Vitae and details about their experience in delivering Conductive Education programs. An Application Cover Sheet and the name, address and contact number of three current referees is also required.

The salary package includes:
• Salary range: $68,056 – $78,802

• Scope for reimbursement or part reimbursement of 457 Visa/ travel /accommodation expenses if applicable

Third Conductor

Exciting news – our new Conductor, Barbara, will be commencing late March 2013. This will mean more Conductor time at Kidman PPS, Findon HS and Trinity Gardens PS. Barbara is Hungarian trained but has been working in England. Please make her feel welcome.

Conductor Position Available

Duties: The Department for Education and Child Development employs two Conductors and provides a range of Conductive Education programs for students with physical and multiple disabilities from 6 months to 18 years. The department is seeking a qualified Conductor from 14 January 2013 (or earlier if possible). The successful applicant will be offered a contract up to 13 December 2013. There is a possibility the employment contract may be extended beyond this date or changed to ongoing employment.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: A qualification in Conductive Education recognised by the Peto Institute, Budapest, Hungary; Wolverhampton University, Birmingham United Kingdom or a degree in a relevant allied health discipline with a background in the provision of programs based on the principles of Conductive Education.

Special Conditions: Some out of hours work may be required. Intrastate and interstate travel as required. Currents driver’s licence and a willingness to drive is essential. The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal history check prior to confirmation of appointment (including from their country of origin). The 2012 CESA event will be a Family Picnic on 1 September 2012 from 1pm till 4pm at Kidman Park Primary School. We are planning a range of things for everyone –

■children’s fashion show; market stalls; raffles; auctions
